Dear C&C Participants, Bill West, Ken Miller, and Friends of Traditional architecture,
I’m sure that all of you who attended will agree that Bill West did a fine job of introducing many of us to the Curtis Park neighborhood and highlighting the most interesting houses and their histories. Thank you, too, Bill, for providing copies of 2014 Curtis Park Tour booklet, the walking tour maps, and for pointing out several controversial infill projects of varying types. Everyone enjoyed walking along those tree-lined streets and seeing the interiors of Ken Miller’s fine home at 2626 Curtis and yours at 2826, both of which were the icing on the cake. Thank you for your generous hospitality on that beautiful Saturday morning.
Bill, you certainly know how to tell a good story! My favorite was the one about Mrs. Patrick Ford at 2627 Champa not allowing her children to play in the front yard on Saturdays, in deference to the families walking to synagogue nearby…

Just a reminder about the ICAA-RM lecture by Dr. Elizabeth Dowling on her newest book, Classical Interiors, this Thursday evening, August 25, at the Cherry Hills Country Club.
Sincerely,
