I pride myself on providing the most personal level of service for each client. I become familiar with their unique needs and desires, and I couple that knowledge with my own familiarity with the real estate market.
I assist and support my clients to buy and sell real estate with an eye towards making the process enjoyable, meaningful, and financially manageable. I work with clients in much the same way as I have for years as a professional educator: focused on the end result, and always listening to the needs of others while sharing my expertise as we work together. I offer highly competitive commissions as well as referral rebates. I provide clients with current information as it pertains to either real estate purchases to live in or for rental investments. This information includes weekly sales data, current market conditions, and referrals for home improvement needs, local neighborhood news, and hot trends. I offer my clients consistent personal service, attention to their individual needs, a skillful eye on market trends, and an undying commitment to help make their home dreams become reality!
EXPERIENCE AND ACHIEVEMENTS:
I have been active in buying and selling real estate for over ten years, both as a licensed broker and also an investor and home buyer. I became very familiar with the Denver market during the early 2000’s. I personally owned condos, townhomes, and homes in Denver. I represented many clients who purchased new, investment, or second homes in Denver. I helped many clients purchase first and second homes, then resell their home as they moved up in square footage to larger homes. Many of my clients are repeat customers who know I will do everything possible to help them secure the best value in a home for their investments. I have experience in working directly with people, and I know how to handle and conduct effective negotiations directly with colleagues.
PERSPECTIVE:
Working with a realtor involves several key variables. The most important are trust and reliability. Given the uncertainties of today’s real estate market, it is especially critical that buyers and sellers have someone they can count on! The process of buying or selling a home is one that should be meaningful, rewarding, and successful in the end. I enjoy helping people discover ways to fulfill their dreams. I have significant ability to be on top of the needs of my clients. I am also by nature exceedingly positive, personable, and energetic in my approach to helping others achieve their goals.
MIKE’S BACKGROUND:
While I grew up in Alabama, my home has been in the Denver area since 1969. I lived in Lakewood, Park Hill, Highlands, Cherry Creek, Congress Park, and now in the Chessman Park area. I graduated from Spring Hill College, a Jesuit college in Mobile, AL, and I also received my master’s and doctorate in education from the University of Colorado. I have four children, all of whom live in the Denver area, and four grandchildren, and three attend schools in Denver and Lakewood. While doing real estate for the last ten years, I was also a school principal and teacher, and I enjoyed working in Boulder, Littleton, Lakewood, Arvada, and Denver. Most recently, I am focusing on helping buyers and sellers in their pursuit of selling or buying a home. I also provide leadership consulting support to school principals as an executive coach. I enjoy traveling, hiking, skiing, movies, concerts, music, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.
